With a colorful cast of popular fighters like Jago, Fulgore, Spinal, and Orchid to choose from, and an expansive combo system in conjunction with the combo breaker mechanic, this installment in the series is always a blast to revisit. Released on Novemand developed by Rare, this combo-heavy 2D fighter is a staple in any N64 collector's library. The Nintendo 64's version of the classic arcade hit Killer Instinct 2, Killer Instinct Gold, is easily one of the best fighting games on the platform.
